Store That Discuss The Use of Storage in The Cornetto Trilogy

Here at Store That, we are big fans of The Cornetto Trilogy. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End are three gory films that all have one thing in common - Cornetto’s. They also all have wonderful uses of storage within them. Today, the Store That team are going to talk about some of our favourite uses of storage within The Cornetto Trilogy by Edgar Wright.

Shaun of the Dead

The first film in this trilogy came out in 2004 and deals with romance, relationships, and mainly, zombies. While the world is falling apart, Shaun is just trying to go about his daily life. He fails to notice the start of a zombie apocalypse. When he does, he and his best mate Ed, take matters into their own hands and work to save their loved ones.

Whilst trying to fight some zombies in their garden, Shaun breaks out his record collection. All of these records are obviously stored correctly and carefully in the right type of box! If Shaun had stored his favourite records here at Store That, he could’ve prevented them being used to kill zombies. Our storage units are perfect for storing any collector’s items you may have, from records to Pokémon cards!

Hot Fuzz

The second instalment is Hot Fuzz. In this film, a policeman who is brilliant at his job, is sent to work in the safest village in England, Sandford. Despite its pristine appearance, the village harbours a dark secret. A series of gruesome murders occur and it’s up to Nicholas Angel and Danny Butterman to figure out what is really going on.

During their investigation, they find out one village farmer has been storing war memorabilia and weapons in his shed. Here at Store That, we do not allow the storage of any firearms, weapons, ammunition or explosives. We also prohibit illegal goods. If you are caught with any of these, you may find them confiscated and kept in an evidence room, just like the one in Sandford police station.

The World’s End

The final film came out in 2013 and follows a group of friends trying to complete an epic pub crawl they never finished in their teens. When the friends start the night, they have no idea what is to come. Their old hometown appears to have been taken over by an alien invasion that has used androids to replace the entire population.

The Network (the aliens), set up base underneath the final pub in the pub crawl - The World’s End. This is where they also chose to store their androids in order to further take over the world…
