What size are storage rentals in London?
The size of the storage unit you choose will depend on what you are needing to use the space for. Here at our storage facility, we have a wide range of unit sizes for you to choose from, depending on your needs!
- Internal units: Our internal units range from a mere 17 sqft to a large 140 sqft! Any of the units under 25 sqft allow enough room to hold clothes, sports equipment and personal items. If you are needing to store furniture, we would recommend 30 sqft and above.
- Drive-up units: The drive-up units we have at Store That are for those who need a consistent easy access to a unit. You can drive up (as the name suggests) and load your van straight from your unit and vice versa! These range from 70 sqft to 135 sqft and are perfect for ultimate convenience.
- Sea containers: For those wanting something a little larger, our sea containers are made for bigger loads. The largest size we have, 155 sqft, can hold the contents of an average 3 bedroom flat, including beds, dining table and chairs, settee, chest of drawers and more!
Are storage units in east London secure?
One of the biggest worries people have when storing their belongings in storage units is whether the facility is secure. Store That takes all the necessary precautions when it comes to your possessions, including fitting our facility with 24 hour CCTV. Not only this, but we also have an in-house security team who look after our building and no customers are allowed on site without daytime staff present. Our security continues by ensuring no one else can have access to your unit, unless they are named on your documents. This way, no one you haven’t approved can gain access to your items.
Can I live in storage units in east London?
We get this question a lot, however, the answer is no. Store That’s storage units cannot be used to live in or to work from (office use). We do, however, allow office storage at our facility.
Can I use storage for moving house?
Storage rentals in London are perfect for moving house, especially if you take advantage of one of our bigger units. Store That have a system in place that allows customers to house their items on short-term contracts, for the duration of as little as 1 month. This type of contract is suitable for that waiting period in-between selling your old house and moving into your new one! The contract keeps rolling on a monthly basis until we receive your 14 days’ notice, meaning you don’t have to worry about extending your stay if needed.
Are storage rentals in London waterproof?
Storage rentals are waterproof and can provide the best protection for your belongings but be sure not to bring damp items into store. it is important to ensure all your items are clean and damp free before they are placed within the unit, with fragile items wrapped and marked properly and mattress/sofa protective covers used. It’s imperative that your items are then packaged accordingly for optimum storage.
What am I allowed to store in storage rentals in London?
Despite us being able to store the contents of your flat or home, we have a list of items that we do not allow to be stored. These items include things such as food or perishable goods, plants, birds, fish, animals, any flammable materials, and other dangerous items, such as firearms and weapons.
