Things to Do in Canary Wharf This Easter Bank Holiday

With the long bank holiday weekend just a few days away, you’re probably wondering what’s going on in London to keep everyone entertained! As experts on the local area, the Store That team have put together some of our top picks for things to do in Canary Wharf over Easter. Let’s take a look!

Picnic in the Wharf

Between the 29th March and 1st April, Jubilee Park and Harbour Quay Gardens will become the go-to place for a picnic in the spring sun! Overnight, the parks will be transformed to host families and groups of friends for a much-needed break from our busy everyday lives. With picnic benches, deck chairs, and outdoor activities popping up all over the parks, this really isn’t one to miss!

Location: Jubilee Park and Harbour Quay Gardens

Kids Colouring Workshop

If you’ve got some little ones to entertain this bank holiday weekend, why not visit the Kids Colouring Workshop? Hosted by Sammie Snow, this is a great opportunity for children to get their craft on!  Admission into the Easter workshop is completely free, and the event is running across two days - 29th and 30th March - between 10am and 4pm!

You can pre-book your space by clicking here or just walk in on the day!

In2Sports

In2Sports is a popular sports centre based in Canary Wharf and this Easter weekend, they’re hosting an open day with lots of free activities for everyone to partake in. From basketball and football, to pickleball, karate, and sports coordination, there’s bound to be a workshop for your family to enjoy!

Paws on the Wharf

At The Wharf, there’s something going on for everypawdy! Ok, so it’s not strictly a doggy event but this one is definitely suitable for your furry friends! Starting today, Monday 25th March, you might start to see a few characters popping up around the local area…

In collaboration with the Guide Dogs charity and Wild in Art, Canary Wharf Group are bringing us a magical art trail to raise awareness for the cause. “Paws on the Wharf will bring a collection of larger-than-life guide dog sculptures to Canary Wharf, each individually decorated by a talented artist in a vibrant design.”

Head to the local area this weekend to see how many you can spot! There are 25 sculptures in total and following the trail ending on the 17th May, there will be a charity auction where people can bid for their favourites, raising vital funds for Guide Dogs.

Location: Canary Wharf and the wider Tower Hamlets Borough
