Small businesses who might use our storage in East London

Businesses who are based in London choose to store items in a storage facility for a number of reasons. These include security and safety purposes, as well as having limited space available. The fact of the matter is that small businesses are beginning to use self-storage facilities more frequently, whether that be due to the pandemic or to utilise space. The team here at Store That are going to outline the types of small businesses who might consider using our facility, and how we can help you!

Charity Shops

Anyone who works or has worked in a charity shop is completely aware of how varied certain parts of the year can be when it comes to donations. Unprecedented times such as the Covid-19 pandemic have caused many to clear out their old clothes or goods and donate them to their local charity stores. However, as much as this is great for them, it’s also difficult when finding somewhere to store those items, which is where Store That comes in. Our facilities range from 20-155 sqft, either at ground level or first floor. Thus, the perfect area to store those smaller and larger goods!

Tradesmen

We have an array of tradesmen running around London, keeping the pulse of the city alive. Plumbers, electricians, fire and security firms, builders, Air BnB companies, property maintenance groups. These are all benefitting from our self-storage facilities.

E-bay and Amazon Sellers

As an increased amount of on-line purchasing activity is announced year-on-year, small and medium sized companies are making use of our storage units to give them purchasing power to buy bulk lots and put them into store here, prior to distribution. It’s great to see these companies growing their businesses whilst here and we do everything to help. We have the facilities to unload 44’ articulated trailers and 40’ containers on site.

Seasonal Businesses

Do we dare say the other C word (Christmas, not Covid!). Some businesses might temporarily use a storage facility around seasonal times of the year including Christmas, particularly in London. Christmas markets such as Southbank might consider using our storage in East London to keep handmade presents in whilst stock is high. As orders start to come in, owners of these markets can come to our storage unit and re stock. When the season ends, customers can close the unit until next year!
