SELF-STORAGE – If Only Marriage Contracts Were So Flexible!

The other day, I was speaking to potential customers whilst showing them around the selection of different storage units we have on site here in Canary Wharf, East London.

I continued by explaining that it’s a minimum of a one-month contract, no penalty or admin fees to change units at any time and only two weeks’  notice to vacate and terminate the relationship. A smile came to my face because I was thinking, if only marriage contracts were so simple; so I said it out loud and we laughed.    But then it got me thinking about loyalty to the people we meet in our lives and those we work with. Save for our new starter here, our staff have worked at our company for 30 years + (with the longest serving member here for 62 years);
as a footnote, I have worked here since 1978 and met me wife in 1979 and have never looked back (on both counts)

Of course, in the initial search, you’re looking at location and price but in my life, I generally look for recommendation first. These days, unfortunately, this means on-line in the main but I am proud to say, if you look at some of the heart-felt reviews, so many of our customers have expressed how much we helped them personally or their business, well beyond what they expected from a self-storage company. That comes from the heart and soul of the company and is very hard to buy these days; it’s either there or it isn’t.
